Who we are:
We are what is termed a 'casual' guild. What this means to our members is that no one is forced to raid, no one is ever forced to spec a certain way, and no one is ever told how to spend their time. If you want to play an alt, farm, go out to a movie, that is your choice. We have existed on LB since almost day one and are one of the oldest if not THE oldest Alliance guild still in existence.

Why should I join?
If you are looking for a mature, friendly, and somewhat laid back atmosphere to more enjoy your Warcraft experience, then Glory of War is a perfect place. Our members tend to be 20somethings with full time jobs or are nearing the end of their post secondary school education. We have families and commitments that we take seriously, and we know you do too.

What about Raiding?
While we do take a casual attitude to things, and as such raid much less than a hardcore guild, that being said when we do raid we expect professionalism and effort. As of now our raid days are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, from 815pm until 11pm, with the provision that we might go over the end time. Anyone thinking of joining GofW in a raiding capacity is asked to make on average 75% of raids each week (while posting absences on those raiding days you cannot make). We won't progress as fast as the guilds that raid every day of the week, but we WILL progress at a pace that fits our members.

Who are the Officers?
Our Guild Leaders are Tylmarande (me), and Phifty. Our Raid Leader is Blindpiggy, while our officers are Luminathor , Azural and Lorenzo. We all have extensive experience in leading guilds and raids. The Majority of us have been playing WoW for over 4 years now. We know our stuff.
